Then we trim with clippers and scissors, taking the length down gradually to match what you asked for. After that, we define your cheek line and neckline with a razor, and check your profile from the side to make sure the shape sits right. What makes one beard trim different from another is what you ask for and what you start with. A thicker beard or one that has been left for a while takes more time and more care to shape. The amount of shaping you want, the length you want to keep, and the condition of your beard all move the time and the cost. We tell you before we start. You can book a time or walk in, whichever suits you. When you sit down, just tell the barber how long you want to keep your beard and where your natural lines are. A trim takes a little while, and the shape holds for two to three weeks before the edges soften. To keep it looking good, brush it and trim strays between visits.
